Aubernee Boarding and Breeding Kennels is owned and operated by Bruce and Faye Anderson.
Bruce has been involved with dogs all his life. As a child his family owned labradors. He obtained his first Irish Setter in 1974 and started out first in obedience and then into conformation showing in 1976. The Aubernee breeding prefix was started in 1980 first with the Irish Setters and then in 1990 with the German Shepherd Dogs. His interest in dogs then extended into conformation judging in 1984 and he is licensed to judge Gundogs, Hounds and Working Dogs. Also a qualified German Shepherd Dog Breed Surveyor. Bruce has served on numerous Dog Club Committees over these years, holding positions of President, Vice-President, Breed Surveyor Co-Ordinator plus many more.
Faye started out with German Shepherd Dogs in 1975 and then Irish Setters in 1985. Started conformation showing with the Irish Setters in 1986 and then with the German Shepherd Dogs in 1989. First litter of Irish Setters was in 1990 under the Erincove prefix. She has now extended her interests into obedience and agility. Also serving on numerous Dog Club Committees holding positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Trophy Steward.
